The Graphics Operator/Scoreboard & Stats Operator creates and distributes news and programming that keeps the public engaged, informed, and entertained through audio, video, and written channels. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends, and travel as needed. Duties & Responsibilities Designs and operates on-screen graphics, including lower thirds, full-screen graphics, and overlays. Prepares graphics and text for use during live broadcasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborates with the Producer and Director to ensure graphics complement the visual and branding goals. Manages live graphics such as score updates, stats, and player information during broadcasts. Troubleshoots any technical issues with graphics software and hardware during live events. Ensures proper formatting and storage of graphics elements for future use. Coordinates with the Replay and Video Operators to ensure smooth transitions between graphics and video segments. Operates scoreboard and stat-tracking systems during events, ensuring real-time accuracy and updates. Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with a prior college or university.
