As a Security Officer Access Control in Grayson, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment. In this people-first role, you will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while addressing security-related concerns with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and/or visitor processing at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting conditions that could impact security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
