• Case Mix: Pediatric ophthalmology, ROP screening and treatment
  
• Rounding: Included
  

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  

• ROP screening and treatment (laser therapy)
  
• Pediatric ophthalmology examinations
  

• Board: Board Certified/Eligible in Ophthalmology
  
• Licenses: Active Florida medical license
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  
• Experience: Residency trained in Ophthalmology; Pediatric ophthalmology experience
  
• Other Qualifications: Updated CV, Lee Health Signed Attestation
  

• Provide inpatient pediatric ophthalmology coverage, including NICU rounding for ROP screening and treatment.
  
• Staff ambulatory pediatric ophthalmology clinic (8-hour shifts on Tuesdays, PRN Wednesdays as needed).
  
• Perform ROP treatments, such as laser therapy, and manage follow-up care.
  
• Cover physician vacations for both inpatient and outpatient pediatric ophthalmology services.
  
• Complete orientation requirements, hand hygiene demonstration, and employee health clearance prior to first shift.
