Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care in the emergency room setting, ensuring timely and accurate response to patient needs. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients quickly and accurately upon arrival to determine priority and acuity levels.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with clinical protocols and patient needs.
• Coordinate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to facilitate efficient patient care delivery.
• Monitor patient status continuously, evaluate responses to treatment, and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in emergency procedures and assist with critical interventions to stabilize patients.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least one year of acute care or emergency room experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Obtain and maintain BLS and ACLS certifications as mandated.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
