We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Parts Counterman to join our fast-paced service department. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory management. You will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians in finding the correct parts, managing stock levels, processing transactions, and maintaining an organized parts counter area. • Previous experience with sales in a parts department.

Job Responsibilities

• Forecast objectives and targets for the parts department
• Handle customer service problems and resolve internal operational issues
• Maintain a balanced inventory that aligns with the needs of the service department and customers
• Forecast demand and place orders with vendors to keep optimal stock levels
• Operate forklift to load and unload parts shipments at the branch. Check for accuracy and damaged parts upon arrival
• Stock parts and coordinate with service department on parts received for repair orders
• Pull parts from inventory to ship or for the service department
• Monitor inventory levels and keep parts department organized
• Handle parts invoicing and billing
• Ship warranty parts back to vendor
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all part sales
• Assist customers and internal staff to identify and acquire the parts needed
• Collaborate with service and sales department to ensure parts are available for internal jobs
• Call existing customers for part sales and cold call new customers
• Part sales to customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
