Electrical Assembly Technician I.

Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing, is seeking a Electrical Assembly Technician I. to join their team. As a Electrical Assembly Technician I., you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Electrical Assembly team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician I.

Location: Battleboro, NC

Pay Range: $20-$22

Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and wire harnesses from prints and schematics.
• Perform wiring, layout, and mounting of components for panels and industrial equipment.
• Use hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, and assembly tasks.
• Route and bundle wires neatly to meet wiring standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate red line drawing mark-ups and communicate changes effectively to engineers and team leads.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED required; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Prior experience with electrical theory and terminology.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Physical ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds and operate hand trucks or forklifts.
