This is a remote role where you will be instrumental in providing high-quality therapeutic support to individuals grappling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough and insightful assessments of clients' mental health status and substance use disorders to accurately identify co-occurring issues. \n
- Collaboratively design personalized treatment plans that effectively incorporate evidence-based strategies, targeting specific mental health and substance use challenges. \n
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on cultivating coping skills, developing relapse prevention strategies, and enhancing emotional regulation abilities. \n
- Facilitate seamless coordination of care with our multidisciplinary team, ensuring that each client receives an integrated approach to treatment that addresses all aspects of their well-being. \n
- Perform regular substance use monitoring, using motivational interviewing and other techniques to engage clients and support their recovery journeys. \n
- Educate clients and their families on the intricate relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adhering to their treatment plans. \n
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation concerning treatment progress, client interactions, and referrals in strict alignment with ethical and legal requirements. \n
- Actively participate in case conferences, trainings, and staff meetings designed to enhance clinical skills and integrate new evidence-based practices into client care. \n
You will primarily serve individuals with complex needs stemming from co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Your expertise will not only elevate their therapeutic experience but will also contribute to breaking the cycle of these dual challenges, guiding clients towards sustainable recovery and holistic well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required. \n
- A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California is a must. \n
- Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities that cater to co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). \n
- Demonstrated understanding of how mental health issues and substance use disorders interact. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary team structure. \n

- Previous experience in outpatient mental health or substance use treatment settings. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote therapy delivery. \n
- History of active involvement in interdisciplinary treatment teams. \n

- Annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000. \n
