Description As a technician at NC Retina Associates, your main duty is to assist in the care of patients during their visit by preparing them to see the physician. You must be able to independently seek out resources and work collaboratively with others. You must have an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate clearly with patients, families, visitors, physicians, administrators, leadership and coworkers. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong interpersonal customer service skills, including effective listening, clear verbal and written communication, problem solving skills
- Reliable transportation to travel to practice locations - not just 1 location.
- Ability to master multiple software systems to input and retrieve data
- Ability to master ophthalmology and retina terminology
