About the Role
The Company is in search of a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their mission of building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy. The successful candidate will be a key leader in driving company-wide security, data governance, compliance, and risk programs. This executive-level role demands a strategic focus on AI and data security initiatives, both internally and as a core component of product development. The Deputy CISO will be responsible for engaging with executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and various teams on emerging AI risks and privacy frameworks. Key responsibilities for the Deputy CISO include leading security and compliance programs, developing AI and data security strategies, and overseeing executive and board governance. The role also involves close collaboration with legal and risk teams on privacy requirements, AI/ML governance frameworks, and technological risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, vendor and supply chain risk management, and a proven track record of customer-facing engagement. Minimum qualifications include a CISSP, CIPT, FAIR, and CRISC certifications, as well as executive presentation experience and a history of AI and security deployment. Preferred qualifications include experience in modern, cloud-native SaaS environments and a background in high-growth technology companies or B2B tech sectors.
