Part-Time Financial / Budget Analyst

Part-Time Financial / Budget Analyst Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position: The Financial / Budget Analyst provides financial management, budget execution, and fiscal analysis support to ensure program funds are planned, tracked, and reported in compliance with DoD and Army policies. Responsibilities include: Supporting budgets, spend plans, and funding profiles. Tracking obligations, expenditures, and burn rates. Preparing financial reports and leadership briefings. Coordinating funding actions and identifying execution risks. Reconciling financial data and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Supporting financial reviews, audits, and data calls. Coordinating with program managers, acquisition personnel, and contracting offices. Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications): Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. At least three years of relevant experience. Recent financial or budget management experience. Ability to work independently and begin supporting the program immediately. Availability to work 20-25 hours per week on a structured schedule. Active Secret Clearance Nice to Have (skills that are not required, but nice to have): Experience supporting DoD or Army programs. Familiarity with DoD financial management processes and timelines. Experience coordinating program or acquisition funding. DAU coursework or certifications in Financial Management or Program Management. This is a part-time position paying an hourly rate and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
