Practice Info * Most comprehensive facility of its kind on the Virginia Peninsula * Short-term acute care hospital with 300 beds * Voluntary nonprofit and a member of Riverside Health System * Features a neonatal intensive care unit with 21 beds and on-site neonatologists * Diverse and challenging case mix includes general, endo, vascular, neuro, radiology, vascular, thoracic, urology, cardiac, bariatric, orthopedic, plastics ENT, OB, and GYN Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures * Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent * Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients * Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed * Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Compensation * Salary: $525K * Sign-on Incentives: $100K Benefits * Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance * Generous paid time off * Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts * 401(k) & Profit Sharing * Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage * Loan repayment & training assistance available Shift & Schedule * Weekday call is 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with a guaranteed post-call day off * About 3 calls per month Requirements * M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine * ECFMG and FLEX * Completion of approved residency in anesthesia * Currently licensed as a physician
