Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have dental assisting experience, hold an active New Jersey Dental X-Ray License, and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care while supporting the dental team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.

• Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with state regulations.

• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Follow infection control and OSHA safety protocols.

• Manage dental instruments, materials, and operatory supplies.

• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

• Support efficient daily clinical operations.

• Previous Dental Assistant experience.

• Active New Jersey Dental X-Ray License.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

• Experience in a general dentistry practice.

• Knowledge of dental software and electronic patient records.
