About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician to become a foundational member of our team.

You will work closely with the veterinarian and clients to provide exceptional patient care while helping create an experience that is welcoming, educational, and supportive.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
• Obtain patient histories and communicate effectively with clients
• Perform or assist with laboratory testing, radiography, and patient monitoring
• Provide nursing care and patient advocacy
• Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and home care recommendations
• Support a calm, low-stress experience for patients and their families
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Contribute ideas and help build systems as our practice grows

What We're Looking For

• Veterinary Assistant experience or Veterinary Technician credentials (licensed or eligible preferred, but not required depending on experience)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion for both patients and people
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning
• Ability to think critically and adapt to individual patient and client needs
• A team-oriented mindset
