MAINTENANCE PLANNER ( DS Ready to Eat )

Utilizes and maintains the facility's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule and monitor maintenance work, and trace and document company assets. Key Responsibilities Enters maintenance data into CMMS such as time and work accomplished. Enters data into relevant reports. Updates maintenance reports. Communicates information to relevant parties. Provides administrative support for maintaining and printing schedules and timesheets for team members. Ensures all information is readily available at the start of their shift. Maintains, generates, and prints reports on preventative maintenance (PM) for team member utilization. Updates weekend maintenance report (Weekend List), creates work orders, and communicates this information to management. Updates maintenance reports on employee time and overtime, PM / Non-routine work and project completion, and company downtime and utility usage. Provides this information to leadership. Assists and collaborates with department supervisors to schedule work and create new (PM) procedures. Generates basic reports for team members and leadership, including reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience) High school diploma, GED, or equivalent 3+ year of experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Firm knowledge of terms and equipment used in the industry Experience in data collection with the ability to use spreadsheet and other data collection software Solid understanding of CMMS / an Access based program Ability to utilize a computer to communicate, collect and sort data, and to distribute reports Proficient with the use of word processing Firm communication and interpersonal skills Solid organization, time-management, critical-thinking, and multi-tasking skills Attention to detail with the proven ability to maintain accuracy in data entry Ability to solve difficult problems within existing guidelines Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Firm knowledge of terms and equipment used in the industry Experience in data collection with the ability to use spreadsheet and other data collection software Solid understanding of CMMS / an Access based program Ability to utilize a computer to communicate, collect and sort data, and to distribute reports Proficient with the use of word processing Firm communication and interpersonal skills Solid organization, time-management, critical-thinking, and multi-tasking skills Attention to detail with the proven ability to maintain accuracy in data entry Ability to solve difficult problems within existing guidelines Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's degree in related field Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including remote work, a climate-controlled office environment(s), and in a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment. For remote work, the employee must have a dedicated workspace to safely setup and use assigned IT equipment, preferably free from distractions. The employee is responsible for ensuring adequate internet service is available when working remotely (the recommended minimum speed is 20mb download and 5mb upload). The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
