Job Description Global Director, Social Media, Content & Community Employment Type: Full-Time Our client, a leading consumer beauty and lifestyle brand, is seeking a magnetic Global Director, Social Media, Content & Community to turn fans into loyalists, rituals into culture, and content into a movement. This leader will shape global storytelling, brand voice, and digital engagement to strengthen the brand’s position within the beauty and lifestyle space. The ideal candidate is a creative leader with a deep understanding of social-first content, digital trends, and evolving consumer behavior. This role requires a forward-thinking, strategic, and hands-on leader who can bridge brand building, content creation, and performance-driven social strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead the global social media, content, and community strategy across channels and markets. Define and evolve the brand’s social voice, editorial point of view, and storytelling approach. Oversee content creation, editorial planning, social calendars, and community engagement programs. Develop culturally relevant, platform-native content that drives awareness, engagement, and loyalty. Partner with brand, creative, influencer, e-commerce, and regional teams to deliver integrated campaigns. Use performance data, social listening, and consumer insights to optimize strategy and creative output. Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of social, content, and community professionals. Identify emerging platforms, digital behaviors, and cultural opportunities to keep the brand innovative and connected to its audience. Qualifications Extensive experience leading social media, content, and community functions for a consumer-facing brand. Deep expertise in social-first creative strategy, content production, platform trends, and community building. Demonstrated ability to translate brand strategy into engaging, high-performing digital experiences. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. A strategic mindset paired with a willingness to be hands-on in creative development and execution.
