Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care for critically ill and premature newborns
• Utilize advanced NICU therapies and technologies including:
• High-frequency ventilation
• Inhaled nitric oxide
• Total body cooling
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary neonatal teams including:
• Neonatologists
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
• Pediatric subspecialists
• Pediatric surgery teams
• Maternal-fetal medicine specialists
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based neonatal care initiatives
• Educate and mentor pediatric residents through academic collaboration

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Neonatology fellowship/training required
• Georgia Medical License or willingness to obtain
• Neonatology experience required
• Clean malpractice and license history strongly preferred
• DEA required prior to start
• NPDB Self Query Report required at presentation
