This is a leadership role for a corporate security professional who brings a track record of building high-performing teams, championing industry best practices, and driving continuous innovation across physical security programs.The ideal candidate combines deep operational expertise with the strategic mindset to elevate our security posture, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and develop scalable programs that protect our people, assets, and operations at scale.You’ll report to the Head of Physical Security and work onsite from our Santa Ana, CA headquarters. Onsite Requirement:This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.What You’ll Do:Lead West Coast Security Operations, overseeing a hybrid security workforce consisting of both internal team members and contracted security providers to ensure consistent service delivery and performance.Drive workforce planning for West Coast security operations, including recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, performance appraisals, and career development for direct reportsTrack security KPIs, metrics and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvementOwn regional security strategy strategy and roadmap, aligning security initiatives with business priorities and long-term growthServe as a visible, respected leader who models the values of the Security organization and earns cross-departmental trust; act as the primary escalation point for security concerns across all West Coast sitesChampion a team culture built on operational excellence, innovation, and mutual respect, ensuring every team member has the tools, training, and direction to succeedIdentify gaps in current security posture and develop creative, scalable solutions that balance security rigor with operational efficiency and employee experienceLead the development and regular review of security policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures, ensuring they reflect current threats, regulatory requirements, and industry best practicesPartner with the Technical Security team to assess and enhance surveillance infrastructure, access control systems, video monitoring, and alarm systems, driving improvements based on performance data and evolving riskManage security budgets, headcount, and strategic projects to deliver programs on time and within budget, optimizing resources through data-driven decision-making.Respond to emergencies and critical security events as needed, including outside standard business hoursAct as the senior security liaison between the Security organization and all business units, proactively informing leadership of security risks, incidents, and program status in real timeCollaborate with HR, Legal, Facilities, and Operations to ensure security programs align with organizational priorities and compliance requirementsDevelop and deliver clear, executive-level communications, reports, and briefings that translate security data into actionable business insightsWho You Are:5+ years of Corporate Security management experience, at least 10 years in the Security field in total. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experienceDeep expertise in physical security disciplines: access control systems, CCTV and video management, intrusion detection, guest management, key control, and fire life-safety systemsProven track record of developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and training programs that meet or exceed industry standardsHands-on experience leading incident investigations, conducting security assessments, and managing complex security projects from concept through executionStrong command of security risk assessment methodologies and the ability to translate risk into practical, cost-effective mitigation strategiesInfluential, inspirational leader who can drive change, build consensus, and motivate teams through ambiguity and organizational growthStrategic thinker with the discipline to execute operationally; equally comfortable presenting to the C-suite and working alongside frontline security staffData-driven decision-maker who uses metrics, audits, and threat intelligence to guide program development and continuous improvementSuperior organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites without losing attention to detailOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex security concepts for non-security audiencesAdditional certifications preferred: ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).Experience preferred: Travel Safety, Crisis Management, Executive Protection and Business ContinuityPhysical Requirements:Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting.Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.Exposure to Machinery: Exposure to machinery noise, which may include noise from forklifts, injection presses, or other machinery.Hand Use: Power gripping when using low-precision, high-impact hand tools that require significant force, such as hammer drills and torque wrenches.Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75+ pounds, with employee help or with proper equipment.Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.Temperature and Humidity: Occasional exposure to warehouse environments without heating or cooling with fluctuations in temperatures and humidity.Walking: Ability to walk for long periods.Salary Range:The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $125,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
