Job Title: Hospice RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of skilled hospice experience License: OR and WA licensure required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Reliable transportation Description: Hospice RN position available in the Portland area. Shift is 8-hour days. The facility cannot accommodate 4x10s or 3x12s. Ratios are 1:1, with the possibility of visiting up to 6 patients per day. There are 30 productivity points as the standard. First-timers are not accepted for this position. No weekend requirement for this role. No on-call requirements for this position. Travelers will not float between units. The facility cannot accommodate block scheduling. Locals within a 50-75 mile radius are accepted at the same rate. Pending license acceptance is allowed; both OR and WA licensure are required. The facility can call off up to one shift per pay period. Travelers are expected to have their own transportation. The system effectively groups clients to minimize driving time. Occasional maximum radius for travel may reach 50+ miles. This is a home health and hospice care facility. Basic color scrubs are acceptable as attire. Charting will be done using an EPIC system. Mileage reimbursement is in accordance with IRS standards. Two references covering one year within the last three years are needed. Travelers should be prepared to float within the facility as necessary. Return staff must wait six months before reapplying. Communication devices may be provided when required for the role.
