Vascular Access Team RN – Vascular Access

Schedule: 12H Rotating (Day/Night)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13-16 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• BLS required
• A minimum of 2 years in specialty
• IV ultrasound guidance experience
• Strong IV skills
• AVA Certified
• PICC skills preferred
• Large trauma level 1 experience in the last year
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess and place peripheral IVs at the bedside, troubleshoot IV and PICC lines, and perform dressing changes.
• Administer TPA as needed and access ports for flushing.
• Collaborate with team members to fill critical vacancies as required.
• Flexible to rotate between day and night shifts as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• All work history information must be complete in order to submit.
• Public transportation is not accessible in the area; reliable transportation is recommended.
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months of November to April.
