Medical Laboratory Technician - Per Diem, Days / Evenings - Atlantic Advanced Urgent Care - Clark Clark, NJ, United States Job Description Medical Laboratory Technician role focused on routine and complex technical tasks in the performance of laboratory tests using Sysmex and Roche analyzers to support diagnosis and treatment of disease. Urgent care hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm; Saturday and Sunday 8am - 5pm. Must be willing to work evenings and rotating weekends, with a minimum of one weekend in a six‑week period. Perform laboratory tests and follow testing procedures and policies, adhering to quality assurance guidelines. Document corrective action for any non‑conforming event and maintain accurate records. Prepare reagents, manage inventory, and maintain adequate supplies to reduce waste and expense. Exercise clinical judgment to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot problems, and communicate with appropriate departments to resolve issues. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: ASCP eligible Experience in core laboratory using Sysmex and Roche analyzers At least 3 years of prior experience or equivalent in a medical laboratory technician position Provide copy of BS diploma with MT or MLS specified on diploma; if not specified, provide transcript or foreign equivalency if applicable.
