Commercial Energy Efficiency Assessor (Energy Efficiency) Technical Sales Assessor (Full-Time) Introduction Are you a technically minded professional based in the Northampton/Pioneer Valley area who enjoys working directly with customers and solving real problems on-site? This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where you will conduct energy assessments at commercial facilities, evaluate building systems, and walk clients through your findings and recommended solutions. You will work across EV charging, lighting, HVAC, weatherization, and more — helping businesses understand their options and take advantage of available incentives. Whether you come from an energy efficiency background or a related field like HVAC, building inspection, facilities management, or construction and are looking to transition into the growing clean energy space, we want to hear from you. We value the right mindset and willingness to learn just as much as direct experience. Full training will be provided on how to conduct energy assessments, so you can hit the ground running regardless of your starting point. This market is growing fast, and we need people who are comfortable in the field, confident in front of customers, and able to explain technical concepts in plain language. Position Overview This role is focused on conducting on‑site energy assessments for commercial clients, identifying efficiency upgrade opportunities, and clearly communicating findings and recommendations to customers. Key Responsibilities Conduct on‑site comprehensive energy assessments of commercial, industrial, municipal, and nonprofit facilities to identify efficiency upgrade opportunities Evaluate building systems including lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, insulation, weatherization, and building controls during walk‑through inspections Document site conditions through photos, measurements, and detailed field notes Debrief clients after assessments by clearly explaining findings, recommended upgrades, incentive process, and available incentives in a way that is easy to understand Build and maintain strong customer relationships by serving as a trusted point of contact throughout the assessment and project handoff process Answer client questions about energy efficiency solutions, timelines, and expected outcomes with confidence and professionalism Maintain accurate assessment records and upload required documents in Salesforce What We're Looking For 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in energy, HVAC, refrigeration, or building services Must have valid U.S. drivers license Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; college degree or license in a skilled trade (e.g., electrical, mechanical) Strong phone and virtual meeting skills Strong aptitude for Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be based in the Pioneer Valley and willing to drive to customer sites across the area Must pass a mandatory background check What You Get Full‑time salaried position with competitive compensation Full training provided on energy assessment methodology, no prior energy‑specific experience required Work in a fast‑growing industry making a tangible difference for local businesses and communities Artis Energy Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applicants from all backgrounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr Artis Energy Solutions
