Registered NurseSeeking a registered nurse for a medical surgical unit on the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of travel nursing experience. Must have experience with various nursing skills such as managing ports, blood product administration, and care for tracheostomy patients. Responsibilities include providing care for adult and geriatric patients. Daily census is approximately 26-27 patients, with staffing support from various interdisciplinary teams. A focus on wound care, telemetry, and managing cardiac drips is required. Candidates must demonstrate competency in using rapid response teams. Infection control practices and isolation precautions adherence is essential. Effective communication and teamwork skills are vital for success in this role. Candidates are expected to have familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation practices. This position requires flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
