Job Description

Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3
Term: 37-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $187 - $201/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. These positions are 37-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care on a 24-bed inpatient unit
• Conduct ER evaluations and general hospital consults
• Must be willing to see all ages and diagnoses in the ER and provide consultation to the general hospital
• Provide care on adolescent inpatient unit (6 beds) and general adult inpatient unit
• Utilize telemedicine as needed to connect with the general hospital
• Work shifts of 7 am - 7 pm on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule
• Perform 1-2 nights of call per 7-day shift
• Collaborate with APP support staff, social work, discharge team, and intake team
• Work collaboratively with another psychiatrist on a 7 days on/off rotation, with typical changeover on Thursdays
• Maintain Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
• Complete full orientation prior to first shift
