Description

American Traveler is hiring a Speech and Language Pathologist for a Long Term Care position requiring 2 years of SLP LTC experience and a TX or compact license.

Requirements

• Active TX or compact SLP license required
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience in a long term care setting required

Additional Information

• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and reduce aspiration risk
• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies
• Design communication treatment plans to help residents both express themselves and understand others
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
