Assistant Vice President

Coyne is looking for an experienced Assistant Vice President to join our growing Business/Industry group. You will have a strong understanding of business-to-business and corporate communications, with the ability to develop integrated public relations programs for organizations operating in complex industries. You will be a big-picture thinker, strategic counselor, idea generator and media relations strategist across multiple client accounts. As a trusted day-to-day point of contact, you will help lead client strategy, oversee account management and develop communications programs that elevate corporate reputation, engage key stakeholders and support business objectives. This role will involve media relations, executive visibility, thought leadership, industry influencer engagement, issues and crisis communications, content development, event planning and collaboration with internal and external partners. Here Are the Specifics Develop integrated client strategies, communications plans and budgets Serve as a strategic advisor and day-to-day client contact Lead client account management and campaign execution Develop and execute proactive media relations programs across business, trade and industry media Identify opportunities for executive visibility, thought leadership and speaking engagements Monitor industry trends and translate them into communications opportunities Lead or participate in creative and strategic planning sessions Manage vendor and partner relationships Support issues management and crisis communications efforts Oversee and mentor junior staff Measure program results and provide clients with meaningful insights and recommendations What You Should Have 7+ years of public relations or strategic communications experience on the agency side or in-house Experience developing communications programs for B2B, corporate or industry-focused clients Strong understanding of business, trade and industry media landscapes Proven ability to secure meaningful media coverage and guide teams in developing compelling story angles Experience with executive communications, thought leadership and/or corporate reputation programs Ability to think strategically and creatively while serving as a solutions-oriented problem solver Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent client management, project management and organizational skills Experience managing, mentoring and developing a team Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
