Click here for more information about equivalencies: Job Summary The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory ( UKVDL ) develops and applies state-of-the-art diagnostic methodology to improve animal health and marketability, to protect the public health and to assist in the preservation of the human-animal bond through the principles of One Health. For additional information on the UKVDL , please click here . This position is a vital member of the team serving as a Diagnostic Technician. The duties for this position in the Molecular Section of the UKVDL include process specimens; run diagnostic assays; evaluate results; keep proper records and report results; database management ; bioinformatics; and assist in the training of other employees as needed.
