Job Title: Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA / Nursing Assistant – NA
Location: Martinsville, VA & Surrounding Areas (In-Home Patient Care)
Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Available (Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN Opportunities)
Pay: Competitive Pay (based on experience)
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants – CNA / Nursing Assistants – NA to provide one-on-one care for patients in their homes throughout Martinsville, VA and the surrounding areas. This position is ideal for caregivers seeking flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients’ daily lives.
As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA / Nursing Assistant – NA , you will assist patients with daily living activities while working closely with a supportive home health team to ensure quality patient care. This role requires travel to patient homes throughout the service area.
Responsibilities of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA / Nursing Assistant – NA:
Provide direct patient care in the personal setting
Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and nutritional intake
Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
Monitor and document vitals, intake/output, and changes in patient condition
Support patients with chronic illness, injury, or mobility challenges
Follow individualized patient care plans and communicate with the care team
Observe patient concerns and report changes requiring additional care or intervention
Qualifications of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA / Nursing Assistant – NA:
Active CNA certification in the state of Virginia
High school diploma or equivalent
Current CPR certification and TB screening
Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
Ability to work independently in a personal setting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
