In this role, the School Psychologist will support students across designated grade levels within a K-12 setting, helping to foster academic success, social-emotional growth, and positive school climate. You will be responsible for administering and interpreting standardized assessments, contributing to eligibility determinations for special education services, and developing data-driven recommendations for interventions and supports. The School Psychologist will be an integral part of multidisciplinary teams, helping to design and implement MTSS frameworks, academic and behavioral interventions, and crisis response protocols as needed. Responsibilities may also include individual and group counseling, social skills training, behavior plan development, and staff consultation on classroom management and student engagement strategies. You will help ensure that evaluation reports and documentation are timely, thorough, and compliant with state and federal regulations. Typical work hours follow a school-day schedule on weekdays, with additional time for meetings, evaluations, and family communication as needed during the school year. Caseload and building assignments are structured to support a manageable balance between testing, intervention, and consultation.
