Location: Urbana, IL Shift: 4x10 Days Pay: $1,900 weekly gross The Surgical Technologist plays a critical role in the operating room by assisting surgeons and ensuring a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment. This position involves preparing operating rooms, handling surgical instruments, and supporting the surgical team before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs Ensure proper handling, counting, and sterilization of surgical tools and materials Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures Assist with patient positioning, draping, and OR readiness Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia teams for smooth workflow Handle specimens according to protocol and ensure accurate labeling Support post‑procedure room turnover and preparation for subsequent surgeries Requirements & Certifications Minimum 2+ years of Surgical Tech experience Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology OR completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program (Certified Surgical Technologist) – Required BLS (AHA) – Required ✅ Interested?
