Industrial Services TechnicianDivision: Industrial ServicesReports To: Field Supervisor / Operations ManagerFLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)Travel: Regional travel may be required; overnight travel as neededSchedule: Variable shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime as required by job site demandsPosition SummaryThe Industrial Services Technician supports field operations by performing industrial cleaning, maintenance, and environmental services at customer job sites. This role works hands-on with equipment, tools, and crews to safely and efficiently execute projects while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.This is a physically demanding, safety-sensitive field role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under variable site conditions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Perform industrial services work including, but not limited to:Industrial cleaningTank cleaningConfined space entry supportVacuum truck and related equipment supportWaste handling and material removalAssist with setup, operation, and teardown of job sitesOperate hand tools, power tools, hoses, pumps, and related industrial equipmentLoad, unload, and secure equipment, materials, and waste containersFollow all safety protocols, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and site-specific requirementsWear required PPE at all times and enforce safety standards within the crewCommunicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and site contactsComplete required documentation such as job tickets, safety forms, and time recordsMaintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, vehicles, and equipmentReport safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents immediatelySupport other divisions or service lines as operational needs requireRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to work in industrial environments including:Confined spacesElevated areasHot, cold, wet, or dirty conditionsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs with or without assistanceAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work extended hoursWillingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtimeStrong attendance and reliability recordAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamValid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required for entry-level roles)Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in industrial services, environmental services, or constructionConfined Space Entry certificationHAZWOPER (40-hour or 8-hour refresher)TWIC cardCDL (Class A or B)Experience working at refineries, plants, or heavy industrial sitesSafety & Compliance ExpectationsAdhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulationsParticipate in safety meetings, training, and certifications as requiredMaintain a safety-first mindset on all job sitesZero tolerance for unsafe behaviors or policy violationsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform this job:Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and liftingExposure to industrial noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous materialsUse of PPE including respirators, hard hats, gloves, and protective clothingWork EnvironmentThis role operates primarily in industrial field environments, including plants, refineries, and customer job sites.
