As a member of the Salesforce Development team, you will be responsible for accelerating software development and testing utilizing Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce. We are looking for an individual with experience designing and deploying enterprise level applications in Salesforce. The ideal individual for this position will be a subject matter expert in setup, configuration, and developing Salesforce components, modules, and packages and can drive both technical design and development processes for delivering solutions.Major Responsibilities:Partner with Salesforce architect to translate roadmap items into technical designsLead technical implementation of architectural direction on projects and featuresServe as the escalation point for complex technical problems spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (including Field Service)Set and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and governor-limit-safe practices through hands-on code reviewOwn the technical health of the CI/CD pipeline (GitHub, Gearset), championing DevOps and release-management best practicesDevelop applications utilizing Apex, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components Writing reusable, testable, and efficient codeDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant components and packagesWrite unit tests utilizing TDD for Apex and Lightning componentsImplement Salesforce architecture patterns for security limits, and order of operationsImplementation of security and data protectionSetup and delivery of application development practices using GITSalesforce platform configuration and administrative tasks of medium to high complexityUnderstanding of Salesforce Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud as well as Heroku and MuleSoft.Deliver solutions in an Agile - Scrum project methodologyDrive technical design ensuring adherence to defined software development methodologies, including logical and physical design.Set procedures and best practices for Application Development team for delivering built-for-deployment applications in the cloudCollaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applicationsAbility to clearly communicate and explain complicated processesLeverage AI-powered tools and practices to optimize workflows, automate testing, and support informed decision making.Education and Experience:Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experienceExperience: 8+ years of application development utilizing Salesforce development languagesCertifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required) Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (preferred) Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent architecture-track certification (a plus) Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist or Data Cloud Consultant (a plus)Skills and Physical Demands:Strong proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript languagesStrong understanding of web services and SOA related standards like REST/OAuth/JSONAbility to operate effectively both independently and as part of a team using Agile methodologyUnderstanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitExperience delivering applications on the Salesforce platform across multiple clouds, especially Sales and Service CloudAble to recommend and enforce industry best practices and patternsStrong proficiency with data modelingStrong understanding of object oriented programming and designExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholdersMust be well organized and comfortable owning outcomesTeam oriented, with a genuine interest in developing the people around youTypical Physical Demands: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator Requires normal range of hearing and visionOur Culture: Fueling customers' journeys since 1964, innovation leads the way for this family-owned and operated business headquartered in Oklahoma City.
