Physician Assistant | Hospitalist Location: Washington, DC Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 72-day assignment with our client in DC, commencing Jul 1, 2026. This position primarily involves night shifts, with potential for some day shifts, focusing on comprehensive medical management and rounding on patients within the trauma floor, ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities and Duties Provide medical management and rounding for patients on the trauma floor. Manage inpatient medicine cases. Place orders efficiently. Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams. Focus solely on hospitalist duties, with no OR time or procedures required. Additional Information The EMR system utilized is Cerner. Shift hours are 6 pm to 7 am, with a possibility of some 6 am to 7 pm day shifts.
