Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Early Childhood & Family Support Location: Los Angeles, CA (multiple early childhood education sites in LA & Lynwood) Schedule: Up to 20 hours/week | Flexible weekday schedule (8:00 AM – 2:30 PM site hours) Work Type: 1099 Contract Pay: $75/hour About the Role We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide trauma-informed mental health support to young children (ages 0–5), families, and early childhood educators across community-based sites in Los Angeles and Lynwood. This role focuses on early intervention, emotional support, and strengthening family systems. You’ll work closely with educators and caregivers to support children experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges, often rooted in trauma or stress. This is a highly meaningful, flexible opportunity for clinicians who want to make a direct impact in early childhood development and family well-being. What You’ll Be Doing Provide trauma-informed consultation and emotional support to families, educators, and young children (0–5) Conduct classroom observations and support teachers with behavioral and social-emotional strategies Support families experiencing stress, trauma, or behavioral challenges in young children Complete brief, short-term care planning and provide appropriate referrals for ongoing support Obtain consent forms and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with early education and family services teams to promote resilience and developmental growth Utilize tools such as ASQs to assess emotional, social, and developmental needs Maintain culturally responsive, strengths-based engagement with diverse families What We’re Looking For Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) — required Fluent Spanish speaker — Highly preferred (majority of families are Spanish-speaking) Experience working with young children (0–5) and families preferred Background in community mental health, schools, or family services strongly preferred Strong communication skills and ability to build trust quickly with families Trauma-informed, culturally responsive clinical approach Comfortable working independently across multiple community sites Schedule & Flexibility Up to 20 hours per week Flexible scheduling within 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM (based on site availability) Ability to complete documentation/data entry remotely Clinicians may build their own weekly schedule across assigned sites Locations This role supports multiple early childhood education sites across: Lynwood (90262) (Some LA sites are in close proximity to each other; Lynwood sites require travel) Why This Role Stands Out Highly flexible, part-time clinical work Competitive hourly compensation ($75/hr) Opportunity to support early childhood development and family resilience Strong community impact in underserved populations #J-18808-Ljbffr
