With a legacy spanning generations, we've delivered hundreds of award-winning projects that have redefined what's possible in architecture, including:World Trade Center Transit Center – New York CitySmithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture – Washington, D.C.Allegiant Stadium – Home of the Las Vegas Raiders30 Hudson Yards – New York CityChase Center – San FranciscoWhen you join Enclos, you don't just work on buildings - you help shape landmarks.What You'll ExperienceStart with Training: Learn about curtainwall design concepts, company operations, and tools like Revit and AutoCAD.Dive Into Structural Engineering: Explore façade loading requirements, building movements, anchorage design, industry standards, and key calculations such as allowable stress, member moment, and deflection evaluation.Learn by Doing: Progress through weekly topics, building skills in both software and structural analysis, then apply them to real-world project work.Work with Experts: Join project and department meetings to see how engineering decisions shape major construction projects.Contribute to a Project: By the end of the internship, apply your knowledge directly on a live project under the guidance of a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).By the end of the internship, you'll walk away with a strong foundation in structural engineering, and insight into career opportunities with Enclos.What You'll GainHands-on experience in structural analysis and curtainwall system design.Exposure to industry-leading software and design processes.Professional mentorship from licensed engineers.A pathway to future opportunities: top interns may be offered part-time roles during school or full-time positions after graduation.What We're Looking ForCurrently enrolled in a Civil or Structural Engineering program.Successful completion of Statics and Mechanics of Materials coursework is required for consideration.Demonstrated interest in pursuing professional licensure, including the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam and ultimately becoming a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings/blueprints.Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) CAD, structural analysis software, spreadsheets, and technical communication tools.Curiosity, collaboration, and a drive to learn.Program DetailsLocation: Enclos Corporate Office, 3600 American Blvd W, Bloomington, MNSchedule: Monday–Friday, between 8 a.m.–5 p.m.Duration: 10–12 weeks in Summer 2027Compensation: Paid internship, with potential to transition into a permanent role after graduation.Internship positions are not eligible for benefits, incentive bonus, or holiday pay.At Enclos, you won't just learn about construction - you'll be a part of it.
