Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC - $8,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Position Summary Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician – local retail store – responsible for supporting and overseeing repair of Walmart refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills. Job Duties Maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets. Use hand, digital, power tools and other equipment to complete jobs. Utilize work order management system to receive and document repair activities. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose issues. Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies. Lift up to 75 lbs, work on ladders, and work frequently at heights. Minimum Qualifications Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification. 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R maintenance or related field. Type I/Type II EPA Certification for refrigerant handling. Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. 18 years or older. Preferred Qualifications 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R maintenance. Completion of a 2‑year technical HVAC/R program. Mechanical license in the state where job is located. Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage range: $23.00 – $45.00 (actual rate may exceed minimum wage). Performance‑based bonus awards.
