We are hiring experienced ICU Registered Nurses (RN) for a high-acuity, multi-specialty ICU . This unit manages cardiac, neuro, surgical, and trauma patients , requiring strong critical care skills and comfort with advanced equipment.

Cardiac/Heart experience = priority consideration by manager

• Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
• On-Call: Not required

Unit Overview

• Unit Type: ICU (Mixed Acuity)
• Beds: 42
  • Neuro/Med: 22
  • CTICU: 6
  • Surgical/Trauma: 14
• Patient Population: Adult

Common Diagnoses

• Neuro/Med: Stroke, Sepsis, AMS, Respiratory Failure, CHF, post-STEMI
• CTICU: Cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA
• Surgical/Trauma: Trauma, major post-op cases

️ Required Skills & Equipment

• CRRT REQUIRED (Prismaflex / NxStage)
• Ventilator management
• IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
• ICP monitoring & ventriculostomy
• TTM (Arctic Sun)

Floating

• Required to float to all units except Behavioral Health & ER (unless holding patients)

Requirements (Strict)

• Minimum 2+ years ICU experience (ICU / SICU / CTICU / Neuro ICU accepted)
• Travel experience REQUIRED
• Charge/Leadership experience preferred
• Must provide 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager references

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

License Requirement

• Active New York RN License

EMR

• EPIC (REQUIRED)
