Sr. Manager, Talent Operations

About the Role Senior Manager – Talent Operations at Proofpoint designs, builds, and drives scalable talent acquisition operations programs. The role partners with Talent Leadership, Finance, and business stakeholders to translate strategy into data‑driven hiring plans, executive insights, and improved recruiter productivity. Responsibilities Lead Talent Acquisition analytics and workforce planning—develop forecasting models, capacity planning, and financial models to align hiring with budget and business growth. Create and maintain executive dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide real‑time visibility into hiring performance, funnel health, and operational efficiency. Own recruiter enablement strategy, including onboarding, capability building, and ongoing training to improve hiring manager effectiveness. Drive TA transformation initiatives—implement change management, run readiness assessments, and deliver adoption training. Establish and manage the TA PMO and governance frameworks—prioritize initiatives, define portfolio triage, ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery, and report progress to executive stakeholders. Champion continuous improvement—identify operational gaps, implement scalable solutions, and enforce data integrity and system governance across Talent Acquisition. Qualifications 8–12+ years of experience in Talent Operations, Program Management, Workforce Planning, People Analytics, or related fields. Experience leading teams and/or large‑scale, cross‑functional programs. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel/Sheets; BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred). Proven ability to build executive dashboards and present insights to senior leadership. Experience establishing PMO structures, governance models, and portfolio management practices. Background in change management, transformation, and enablement programs. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all levels. Highly organized, able to manage complex priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Analytical mindset with comfort handling large datasets and ambiguity.
