Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Same Day Surgery Recovery Room (PACU) position requiring an active NV RN license and 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Same Day Surgery Recovery Room of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment length
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Uses EPIC for charting

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• AHA certifications required (CPI also required for Behavioral/Psych)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required
• EPIC EMR training provided during orientation or candidates may test out

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Minimum of 2 major holidays coverage required
• Returning travelers must have a 13-week break after completing a prior contract before reapplying
• RTO must be submitted with the application and will not be added to the end of the contract
• First-time travelers may be considered but must apply for licensure promptly upon offer if they have never held a temporary or permanent license
