Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Responsibilities Lead, motivate and supervise a team of production workers to achieve daily production targets while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with the production planning team to develop daily production schedules and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet production goals. Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from quality standards. Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimise efficiency, reduce waste and enhance overall productivity. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff. Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment. Coordinate with the inventory control team to manage raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished goods inventory levels. Ensure accurate inventory counts and timely replenishment of materials as needed. Provide training, coaching and feedback to production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities. Identify training needs and implement development plans to support employee growth. Foster open communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including maintenance, engineering and quality assurance, to resolve issues and drive alignment toward common goals. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
