Description Joe Basil Chevrolet is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cashier for our Cash Office to join our team full-time. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, providing excellent customer service, and keeping financial transactions accurate and organized. Position: Cashier - Cash Office Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: $18-$20 per hour Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet- 5111 Transit Rd. Depew, NY 14043 Schedule:
What You'll Do:
- Monday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: Rotating schedule
- Week A: Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday off
- Week B: Friday off, Saturday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing and data entry
- Accurately process cash, credit card, check, and other customer transactions
- Balance and reconcile daily cash receipts
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Prepare and organize daily deposits
- Assist customers with payments and provide friendly, professional service
- Handle cash and financial information with confidentiality and accuracy
- Communicate with other dealership departments regarding payments and transactions
- Follow established cash-handling and accounting procedures
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
- Previous cashier, cash-handling, banking, accounting, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers and handling financial transactions
- Dependable and punctual
- Professional and friendly communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Must be comfortable working a rotating Friday/Saturday schedule
