Principal TypeScript/Node Engineer, Data Platform

Who you are: 7+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.Experience designing and scaling systems that process large datasets, including hundreds of millions of rows or terabyte-scale data volumes.Strong backend engineering background with an interest in data platforms, analytics, and data visualization.Comfortable making architectural decisions, driving long-term technical strategy, and operating in a fast-growing startup environment. What you’ll do: Design and scale data pipelines that process and normalize large volumes of unstructured construction data.Build and enhance data platform architecture across storage, processing, data modeling, and system scalability.Develop customer-facing analytics, reporting, and visualization capabilities that surface insights from structured datasets.Collaborate with engineers, product leaders, and domain experts to improve data extraction accuracy and platform performance.
