Our client, a leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a dedicated Operating Engineer to join their team. As an Operating Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Management department supporting building operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Indianapolis, IN Pay rate: $29

What's the Job?

• Support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Complete tasks such as painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing, and general repairs
• Maintain work order system (CMMS) and address tenant service requests promptly
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections regularly
• Assist in emergency response and troubleshooting of building systems including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls

What's Needed?

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
• Trade school education, union training, military service, or college background preferred
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in obtaining within the first year (with employer support)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably using ladders up to 30 feet tall
