JOB TITLE: Scientific - Technician I

JOB LOCATION: Morrisville, NC, 27560 (Onsite Position)

Contract Duration: 09 months

Shift: 10:30pm-7am Monday-Friday

Note: Candidates with a background in customer service or the food industry are preferred. This is an entry-level opportunity, and candidates with extensive or highly specialized experience may be overqualified for the role.

The Technician I is responsible for completing all daily and weekly decons of equipment, end of shift and ancillary tasks.

This position is also responsible for labeling and hand capping tubes and completing safety/QA audits on the floor.

 

This position reports to the Value Stream supervisor and is part of the Standard Desalt Value Stream located in RTP, North Carolina and will be an on-site role.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and sign off completion of tasks in company software programs.
• Package product as customer demand requires.
• Supply the production line with necessary materials to ensure smooth process flow.
• Complete safety/QA audits as scheduled.

 

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or GED
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Offices Suite

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience
