Quality Control (QC) Inspector

Schedule:

• Monday through Sunday, with overtime as needed.

We are seeking detail-oriented Quality Control Inspectors to inspect manufactured parts and ensure they meet quality standards before shipment. This position requires the use of precision measuring instruments and the ability to identify and report defects to maintain product quality.

• Inspect parts to determine if they meet specifications.
• Measure and chart dimensions of parts at pre-set production intervals.
• Report imperfections and out-of-spec conditions immediately to the QC Lead and QA Manager.
• Ensure no defective parts are shipped to customers.
• Learn and follow all company safety procedures.
• Become familiar with Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the position.
• Complete all required training within the designated timeframes.

• Basic understanding of fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring tools, including:
  • Digital calipers
  • Depth micrometers
  • Inside micrometers
  • Dial indicators
• Ability to complete required training modules within 90 days of employment.
• Successfully complete a visual acuity test.
• Complete training on the proper use of radius gauges.
• Familiarity with SOPs and Work Instructions is preferred.

• Lift parts weighing from a few ounces up to 50–100 lbs. with the assistance of a hoist.
• Walk throughout the manufacturing facility for approximately 90% of the shift.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
