The House Nursing Supervisor works closely with all departments, Medical Staff, and Administration to maximize the use of the hospitals' resources to provide quality patient care.A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include:Education: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing is preferred.Minimum Experience: A minimum of two (4) years experience acute care nursing practice that includes sufficient clinical and management experience to ensure competence.Licensure/Life Safety:Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of North CarolinaAmerican Heart Association (AHA) BLS must be current upon acceptance of position.AHA ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter.AHA PALS certification or within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter.More about Haywood Regional Medical CenterHaywood Regional Medical Center is a 156-bed acute care hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the Western North Carolina community for over 90 years.
