Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for cardiac patients including those with congestive heart failure and acute coronary syndrome.
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, ensuring high-quality monitoring and intervention.
• Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips with skill and precision.
• Support respiratory needs with devices such as BiPAP and CPAP, and respond promptly to deteriorating conditions.
• Collaborate with the Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department for room monitoring and rapid response activation.
• Document patient care activities accurately in EPIC, following compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience, including cardiac care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Capability to manage chest tubes and perform PICC line care.
• Previous charge RN experience preferred, but not mandatory for first-time travelers.
• EPIC proficiency and successful completion of a compliance EKG exam.
