SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS

Substitute Bus Driver

Location: Transportation Dept.

Salary: Per 2026-2027 salary schedule - $22/hr.

Hours: varies must be flexible

Qualifications:

• Clean MVR and ability to pass drug test
• First Aid and CPR Certificate or ability to obtain one
• CDL (or ability to obtain one)
• Demonstrated knowledge of all traffic and safety regulations
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clear background check through submission of fingerprint card to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and Background Information Services

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school and school sponsored activities.
• Maintain student discipline and enforce regulations regarding student conduct.
• Keep vehicle clean and report mechanical problems.
• Perform other duties related to transportation services as assigned.

PCSD1 offers Career and Technical Education which includes ACE (Alternative Cooperative Education) which prepares young adults to be occupationally effective, socially responsible, and functionally independent. The ACE program is available to all interested students.
