Job Details: Job Location: Renton Office - Renton, WA 98057, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $100,383.00 - $138,026.00 Salary, Job Shift: Monday - Friday, Job Category: Resource Development / Fundraising, The Director of Corporate & Community Engagement is a key member of the Resource Development leadership team responsible for growing philanthropic revenue and strengthening corporate and community partnerships in support of Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties' mission. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this position develops and executes strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate donors while supporting the growth of faith-based giving, major gifts, and other donor engagement initiatives. This role provides leadership and strategic direction for corporate partnerships, volunteer engagement, affinity builds, and related fundraising programs, while supervising the Volunteer Program Manager and Senior Corporate & Community Programs Manager. Working closely with Resource Development colleagues, organizational leadership, board members, volunteers, and community partners, this role builds long-term relationships, expands philanthropic investment, and supports fundraising campaigns, events, and engagement opportunities that advance organizational goals. Your Impact Corporate Fundraising & Partnership Development Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners, securing annual renewals and increased philanthropic support while identifying and cultivating new prospects to achieve established fundraising goals. Develop and implement strategies to expand Habitat SKKC's corporate donor base and strengthen long-term partnerships. Develop and execute customized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for top corporate donors and prospects, leveraging opportunities such as the annual luncheon, sponsored build days, affinity builds, and other engagement activities to retain, upgrade, and deepen donor investment. Lead a proactive corporate engagement strategy to recruit new companies through sponsorships, grants, employee giving, volunteer engagement, and strategic partnerships. Secure and prepare for donor meetings by conducting prospect research, developing proposals and presentations, creating tailored solicitation strategies, and coordinating all meeting logistics. Manage, recruit, and support the Corporate Partners Committee, building a network of corporate leaders and advocates who help advance Habitat's mission and expand community and philanthropic support. Leadership & Team Management Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management for two direct reports: the Volunteer Program Manager and the Senior Corporate & Community Programs Manager. Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture while supporting professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational and fundraising objectives. Work independently with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and strategic thinking while managing multiple priorities and fundraising activities. Donor & Community Engagement Support the development and execution of donor communications, collateral, and stewardship strategies that effectively articulate Habitat SKKC's mission, impact, funding priorities, and volunteer opportunities. Evaluate, develop, and implement programs and initiatives that expand donor engagement, volunteer participation, and community investment. Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and strong relationship-building skills by seeking to understand each donor's motivations, interests, and philanthropic goals, and tailoring engagement strategies accordingly. Collaborate closely with Resource Development staff, senior leadership, board members, volunteers, and community partners to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. Fundraising Strategy & Administration Support key fundraising initiatives and events, including: Annual Luncheon: Sponsorship cultivation and stewardship, table captain engagement, honoree recognition, showcase planning, and donor outreach. Annual Appeals and Campaigns: Annual Report, year-end campaign, membership and recurring giving programs, and other direct response fundraising efforts. Signature Volunteer Engagement Programs: Women Build, Corporate Builds, Interfaith Build, Veterans Build, and other affinity build initiatives. Additional Fundraising Activities: GiveBIG, committee engagement, donor research, prospect strategy development, and other donor cultivation efforts. Supervisory Responsibilities This position supervises staff. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, public administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible fundraising or development experience, including experience with corporate fundraising, major gifts, sponsorships, or fundraising events. Demonstrated success cultivating, soliciting, securing, and stewarding major donors and/or strategic corporate partnerships. Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff. Experience partnering with organizational leadership, board members, volunteers, donors, and community stakeholders to advance fundraising goals. Strong written, verbal, presentation, relationship-building, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational, project management, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience using donor databases or CRM systems and fundraising data to manage donor activity and inform strategy. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT. Knowledge of the Seattle-area philanthropic and nonprofit landscape. Experience developing corporate engagement strategies involving sponsorships, employee giving, volunteerism, and/or corporate grants. Experience supporting major fundraising campaigns, events, affinity programs, or volunteer engagement initiatives. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Must have a valid driver license with a good driving record and reliable transportation.
