Physical Therapist Assistant

The Encompass Group is partnering with a leading orthopedic healthcare organization to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working in an outpatient orthopedic setting and is passionate about helping patients improve mobility, recover from injuries, and regain function. What You'll Do Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Lead patients through therapeutic exercises, balance and gait training, and functional activities. Utilize treatment modalities such as heat, ice, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction as directed. Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and the safe use of assistive devices. Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation. Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment. What We're Looking For Current, valid state Physical Therapist Assistant license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 1+ year of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Strong new graduates will also be considered. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of physical therapy principles and EMR documentation. Why Join?
