Salary: $143,400 - 143,400 per year Requirements:

  • We require 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • We require 2+ years of non-internship experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling for new and existing systems.
  • We require experience programming in at least one software language.
  • We prefer 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent background.
Responsibilities:
  • We design and deliver a modern, flexible, scalable, high-throughput, low-latency network architecture.
  • We implement routing and forwarding, traffic engineering, and SDN technologies to provide best-in-class broadband network services.
  • We build highly available software that operates the networking control plane on physical and remote nodes.
  • We define and automate processes for software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • We provide operational excellence for control plane services, including tooling and refinement of operational procedures.
  • We develop routing control plane software for network nodes using C and Rust.
  • We work with satellite ground control services, customer engagement systems, and monitoring services to continually improve network performance and customer experience.
